Your mission is to gather crystals... and to dodge enemies and spikes. Good luck completing your crystal collection in this arcade-styled adventure!

Each world consists of five short levels followed by a long crystal level. The short levels require you to collect all the crystals without getting hurt from the enemies and spikes. There are also moving platforms to maneuver on too! Crystal levels are longer, varied levels where you have to keep traveling until you reach a single room with a rare crystal.

"Crystal" is best known for its fun arcade-flavored concept, ambient music, and pleasant graphics. It received a lot of downloads over at Acoders and The Daily Click and many players left a very positive feedback (with some exceptions to certain glitches in the game.)

"Crystal" consensually borrowed the game mechanic from another game called "Zone Runner" (which is also available on Acoders). In comparison, "Crystal" was designed to feel much like an arcade game.

The longer, varied crystal levels add more content to the game for being different at each world. For instance, the ruby world is one long vertical level, and the amber world is one long horizontal level. There are other variations too such as auto-scrolling, warping around the edges, and entering rooms a la "Jet Set Willy".

Interesting to point out that "Crystal" started off as a fan game of an arcade game "Bomb Jack." That later grew to become the game to what it is now called "Crystal!"
